    BENTLEY MARINE custom built ultra-lightweight marine turbines and gearboxes have no parallel in the industry!

    With a Research & Development cost of over 1.5 Billion US Dollars per turbine & gearbox design and extensive Navy use throughout the world, BENTLEY MARINE custom built turbines and gearboxes are state-of-the-art. These ultimate high-tech machines are the most efficient marine turbines ever, boosting the highest power to weight ratio. A must to any Superyacht and a standard equipment on most BENTLEY YACHTS.

    All BENTLEY MARINE turbines and gearboxes are custom built for each application and delivered turn-key as a package installation, including all electronic monitoring & control, thermo-acoustic insulated custom inlets and exhausts, filters and fire-suppression systems. They can operate with regular marine Diesel or with LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), a clean and environmentally friendly fuel, producing almost ZERO emissions. Performance is slightly increased on LNG versions which burn even more efficiently.

Compact ST (Super Turbine) Series:

    BENTLEY MARINE compact ST (Super Turbine) range from 500kW up to 4MW (peak output is 5MW). They come equipped with integral ultra-lightweight aluminum magnesium alloy planetary gearboxes for minimum engine room space and Full Authority Digital Electronic Control and Monitoring System.

M (Master) Series:

    Larger yachts can benefit from BENTLEY MARINE Master Series models that range from 3360kW up to 25MW.

    The Navy approved M- Series are the only reversible turbines in the world, with no need for reversible gearboxes, thus saving tons of weight and space onboard. They are designed for COGAG (Combined Gas & Gas) multiple turbine installations, allowing two higher horsepower turbines to be combined with two smaller ones, by means of special dual-input gearboxes. The innovative system enables any of the 4 turbines installed on a Superyacht to be operated independently and yet deliver power to both output shafts (props or water jets) by means of two interconnected gearboxes. This arrangement provides for maximum fuel efficiency at all speeds and unsurpassed reliability.

    BENTLEY MARINE custom built ultra-lightweight turbines, gearboxes and integral parts are all manufactured  in the same plants, assuring BENTLEY MARINE's clients immediate availability of parts and faster maintenance and repair jobs, as the same factory technicians can work on the turbines and on the gearboxes. After assembly, all turbines and gearboxes are vigorously tested under BENTLEY MARINE's strict Total Quality Control Program and then professionally installed by our team of certified factory technicians. A two-year full warranty coverage is standard on all BENTLEY MARINE turbines and gearboxes.

    Like all BENTLEY MARINE machinery and equipment, BENTLEY MARINE turbines and gearboxes are backed by a quick maintenance and repair service that is available around the clock and 365 days a year.

HIGH-POWER PTO DRIVEN GENSETS:

   NEW: All BENTLEY MARINE Turbines can be ordered with a new ultra compact and lightweight High Speed computer-controlled 100kW Genset. The units are connected to the Turbines via the PTO (Power-Take-Off) gearbox. The innovative energy efficient system enables the yacht to automatically shut-down the auxiliary Genset when the main propulsion engines are running, thus saving lots of fuel.
